The Millennium Quarter lies immediately to the south of Canary Wharf
in London’s Docklands. A masterplan was commissioned to guide
the future development of the area and we were appointed by Pembroke
Real Estate, advisors to Fidelity, landowner of a key site, to represent
their interests in the masterplanning process.
Tibbalds advised Fidelity in the process of appointing an architect,
Hopkins Architects, and acted as planning consultant for the scheme.
Our role included:

preparing
and submitting the planning application and securing planning
consent for one million sq ft of office floorspace; |

preparing
and coordinating an Environmental Assessment of five related
proposals within the Quarter, including cumulative assessment;
and |
| • |
preparation
and negotiation of the global section 106 contributions framework
for the Millennium Quarter Masterplan on behalf of key landowners,
Fidelity, Ballymore, Carnegie Holdings and Capital and Provident.
