Jane Dann and Hilary Satchwell to speak at National Planning Summit 2022
Tibbalds Directors Jane Dann and Hilary Satchwell will be making presentations on both days of this year's national Planning Summit, taking place on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th May 2022.
Jane Dann, alongside Matthew Carmona, Professor of Planning & Urban Design at the Bartlett School of Planning, will be rounding up day one, by sharing lessons from National Model Design Code Pilots.
What are the things that you need to be aware of? How can planners and developers best ensure proposals are in line with this? What specific guidance should planners be looking to?
On the second day Hilary Satchwell will be presenting a discussion around Integrating social value into planning.
What are the advantages of social value planning? How can councils be compelled to embed social value into their planning policies? What sort of benefits can this have on sustainability?

National Planning Summit 2022 is a dedicated two day conference for the entire planning sector to share insights and develop cooperative strategies designed to deliver more sustainable places that meet both national and local standards.
