An important step forward for Newham Council at Custom House with the resolution to approve up to 650 homes, including 261 affordable homes, as part of this major regeneration project.
Tibbalds is planning consultant for this project, and previously secured planning permission for the 95 affordable 'Kickstarter' homes already under construction.
Associate Director Rob Moorhouse said: “This decision will increase the supply of new and genuinely affordable housing in a place with its own unique character and grain. A new health hub, open spaces and supporting community and commercial facilities will also be delivered, renewing Freemasons Road and contributing towards a healthier and safer place."
With Adam Khan Architects, HaworthTompkins, and East.
More information about the permission can be found on the Housing Today website.
