Planning application submitted for Sports Pavilion, at Great Western Park, Didcot

Tibbalds have submitted plans for a new sports pavilion building, on behalf of Taylor Wimpey, comprising sports changing facilities and flexible social spaces within a landscaped setting.

The building is designed as a prominent landmark building to serve the sports clubs as well as the wider community within the Great Western Park development, in which Tibbalds have a leading role, providing masterplaning and design advice for a 3,300 dwelling mixed-use urban extension to the west of Didcot.

The building has since received planning permission in December 2013.
