South Norfolk Design code out for consultation prior to adoption
We're really pleased that the Tibbalds design code for South Norfolk and Broadland is now out for its final consultation stage.
It's been an interesting project to work on as it focuses on the specific design and placemaking issues faced by the urban edge, small towns and rural areas and follows close working with the districts and a wide range of consultees on the specific challenges they are dealing with in securing and supporting good development. It looks practically at what is needed in a way that can support good design through robust characterisation, good consultation and clear design coding and guidance.
Well done to the Tibbalds team, David Edleston and South Norfolk and Broadland District Councils.
The Draft Design Code SPD can be viewed on the South Norfolk and Broadland website.
